reflecting on a year of impactful community service...
Dear Friends and Supporters,
It is with a mixture of emotions that we announce the closing of Designed For Hope at this time. For the past year, we have had the immense privilege and joy of supporting homeless women in the Seattle, Washington area. Our journey began with a vision: to make a meaningful difference in the community we cherish. With a dedicated team and a finite amount of funding, we embarked on a mission to create beautiful, welcoming living spaces for those in need.
Our Achievements and Gratitude
We are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together. The transformation of spaces into safe havens for women who faced homelessness has been a testament to the power of community, compassion, and collaboration. Whether you joined us as a volunteer, contributed as a donor, or benefited as a recipient, your involvement has been invaluable. You have not only enriched the lives of the women we served but have also profoundly impacted the lives of our design team. Your kindness and generosity have been the driving force behind our mission.
Looking to the Future
As we close this chapter, we hold onto the hope that our paths may cross again in the future. Although our current project has come to an end, the spirit of Designed For Hope lives on in each of us. We are grateful for the opportunity to have served and are inspired by the community's response to our efforts. We may revisit and reignite Designed For Hope at a later date, and we hope you will be there with us when that time comes.
Continuing the Spirit of Giving
In the meantime, we encourage you to continue making a difference in your community. There are countless ways to contribute, be it through volunteering, donating, or simply supporting a non-profit organization that resonates with you. Every small act of kindness can create a ripple effect of positive change.
Thank you for your unwavering support, your trust, and your belief in our mission. Together, we have made a lasting impact, and for that, we are eternally grateful.
Take care, and remember, the heart of any community is its people.
Warm regards,
The Designed For Hope Team

Designed for hope
believes all women should have not just a place to live, but a home.
We create
beautiful spaces.
Designed For Hope is a nonprofit interior design organization that seeks to provide assistance to women at the crossroads of leaving homeless shelters, halfway houses, and transitional housing programs. We are here to help alleviate some of the worries for women who are moving into a new residence.
Our goal is to create a space that is more than just a home. A place that is filled with things that women love and in colors that they enjoy. |
design with a purpose
For this design installation we created a beautiful space for a former resident of the Elizabeth Gregory Home. We selected a palette of pink and gray, colors known for their soothing qualities. Our goal was to transform her studio apartment into a cozy cottage-like retreat, a space that would envelop her with warmth and tranquility. We envisioned a home where, after the stresses of a long day, she could return to a sanctuary that felt both comforting and rejuvenating.
